It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas E. Dennis of Frankfort, Ohio, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Thomas may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Dennis, and Mary Henson Dennis, Sr.; his sons, Thomas A. Dennis and Stephen E. "Spank" Dennis; and his sister Jane Dennis.
He is survived by: his daughter Sally Cartee (Derek) of Chillicothe; his sister Joyce Dennis of Fairborn; his sister-in-law Barbara Abernathy of Frankfort; and his cousin Sam Dennis (Rikki) of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ebright Funeral Home (55 Springfield St, Frankfort, OH 45628). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (3796 Co Rd 550, Frankfort, OH 45628).
In lieu of flowers, Tom's family asks that memorial contributions be given to a charity of one's choice in Tom's memory.
