He is survived by : his wife Betty J. Wolfe; his sons, James Briggs (Katrina) of Washington, C. H. and Joseph Briggs (Kimberly) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, James Briggs (Kaitlin) and Samantha Wight; and his great grandchildren, Reagan Joy Briggs and Alexander Wight-Mettler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
