She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Franklin and Dovie Elizabeth Powell (Cavin); and her sisters, Bobbie Powell, Joan Moore and Carolyn Powell.

She is survived by : her husband Richard "Dick" Wenzel; her son Richard "Scott" Wenzel (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Abigail Wenzel, Madison Meadows, Mackenzie Meadows and Rowan Wenzel; her great grandchild Paislee Jo Ames; and her brother Joe Powell.
