She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Thomas and Lula Thomas; her husband Ottis Halsey; her son Ronnie L. Barnett; and her brothers, Reed Thomas Jr., Bill G. Thomas and Delmar R. Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Annette K. Chambers (Jeffrey), Tonia D. Chambers (John), Teresa M. Glenn (Danny) and Darrell R. Barnett Sr.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
