He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Nickell, Art Nickell (Eugenie) and Leila Fair (Bill); his son Lannie Nickell; his former wife Carol Sue Nickell; his sister-in-law Jenny Nickell; and his stepgranddaughter Cherokee Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
