It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Charles Hird Jr. (Franklin, Ohio), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Hird (Haft) and Edward Charles Hird, Sr. (Ann); his daughter Ashley Grace Hird; his parents-in-law, Paul McDonough (Mary) and Joan McDonough (Tumulty); and his siblings-in-law, Michael McDonough and Charlene Lyon.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen McDonough Hird; his daughter Nikki Fueston (Justin); his grandchildren, Lily and Jackson Fueston; and his siblings, Charles Lyon and Beverly Gibson (Bill). He is also survived by 13 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews along with very dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, OH 45005).
