He is survived by: his mother Barbara Kidd Nichols; his wife Denise Wenzel (Schroter); his sons, Thomas Wenzel and Zachary Wenzel (Kena Griffin); his stepfather Brad Nichols; his siblings, Charlotte Jones and Matt Wenzel; his niece Haley Shorten (Zach); his nephew Sam Jones; his great-niece Everleigh Shorten; and his cousins, Judy, Eddie, Ofelia, Carson, Cam, Gracie and Chance Keller.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Anthem House Church (7974 Barret Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069).
