He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Barnard and Stella Robinson Barnard; and his wives, Linda and Agnes. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Abner (Dennis), Holly Stuck (Robert) and April Patrick (Dave); his great grandchild Raymond Ross; and his friends, Fred Hall and Amvets Post. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
