He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Profitt and Eva Profitt; his wife Sandy Profitt; his son Donny Ray Profitt; and his brother Bill Profitt.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy VanWinkle of Franklin, Cindy Via (David) of Monroe and Duane (Kim) of Camden; his grandchildren, Jessica Naylor, Jay Naylor, Dallas Profitt (Angel), Luke Clark, Terry Scoville, Justin Schwab, Nichole Schwab, Jake Coleman (Angela) and Kelli Coleman; and his brothers, Jimmy, Ed and Bradley Profitt.
