He was predeceased by: his parents, Voight T. Fleming and Catherine Fleming (Caskey); his wife Marilyn A. Fleming (Aldridge); and his brothers, Jerry Fleming and Ronnie Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, James Edward "Ed" Fleming Jr. (Judy), Rhonda Richardson (Don) and Michael Fleming; his brother Greg Fleming (Michele); and his grandchildren, Andy Fleming (Jennifer), Samantha Carlson (Craig), Michelle Fleming and Melyssa Fleming. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
