He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wines (Foote); his children, Dr. James D. "Jamie" Wines Jr. and Kim Shults (Brian); his grandchildren, Noah, Asher, Ben Wines, Elijah, Isaac and Kydee Shults; and his siblings, Roy Wines, Doris Blount and Joan Stanley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
