She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Sandlin and Mary Lou King (Berry); and her siblings, Carolyn Sandlin, Kathryn Pierson, Tom and Daniel Sandlin.
She is survived by: her husband Lory Carpenter; her children, Jamie Evans (Tim Bishop), Kenny Carpenter (Donna) and Kevin Carpenter; her grandchildren, James Bowling (Ashley Combs), Dean Evans (Mariah Decker), Nicholas Bishop (Briana Young) and Kenny Carpenter Jr. (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Jaila, Jaycee, Jaxie Bowling and Bentley Bishop.
