He was predeceased by: his father James Scrimgeour; and his wife Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Suzann Byard (Bob), John (Joan Guillory) and James Scrimgeour (Mary); his grandsons, Andrew (Lindsey), Alexander (Jessica), Aaron Byard (Carrie), Austin (Emily) and Eric Scrimgeour; and his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Brayden, Mia and Mara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
