She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Garr Bennett and Lucille Wilson Lakes (Jones); her husband Terry Lee Day; her son Terry Eugene Taylor; and her close friend Thumper.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Abner (Dan); her grandchildren, Christopher (Brandi), Danielle (Seth) and Nikki; and her sisters, Yvonnie Wiggins (Ernie) and Evelyn Ponder (Doug). She is also survived by her nine great grandchildren.
