He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Burdette and Donna Burkholder (Schull); and his parents-in-law, Don and Phyllis Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Burkholder; his children, Amanda Burkholder (Amine Dehmani), Dawn Griggs, Kolton Griggs, Kurt Griggs and Nick Sherwood; his pets, Max and Maggie; his grandson Tyler Griggs; his sister Loretta Randolph; his father-in-law Fred Schamerloh (Linda); his cousin Rena Gobble (Cooter); and his siblings-in-law, Rick Schamerloh (Teresa), Doug Anderson, Stephanie Romo, Kim Schamerloh and Elaine Jobe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; numerous friends and co-workers.
