He is survived by: his wife Lorna Faye Edwards (Weems); his stepsons, Nathaniel Rhodes and Manuel Vaughs; his siblings, Jeanette Weems, James Weems (Marcia), Ida Reece (Sam), Paulette Pratt (Bob) and David Weems (Patricia); his children, Rod Huff, Preston Weems, Jan Weems, Odell Weems III (Carla) and Ronnell Spears (Cynika); and his grandchildren, Di'jon Weems, Ja'lisa Elrod, Jo'von Weems, Rod Huff Jr., Tatjana Jones, Ty'mple Weems, Kyla Spears, RJ Spears and Aaron Spears.
