He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Adkins and Lavada Adkins (Strong). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Adkins (Harris); his sons, Troy (Tracy Adkins), Paul (Angie Adkins) and Josh (Cindy Adkins); his sister Donna; his brother-in-law James Collins; and his grandchildren, Brandon Adkins (Erica), Candace Childers (TJ), Matthew Adkins (Ashley), Tyler Adkins (Ariel), Isaac Adkins, Chase Coomer (Shay), Blaine Coomer and Savanna Coomer. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and 1 great-grandchild.
