Paul E. Hormel Sr. Obituary

Sonny passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2025 at 2:27 am. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Debbie, parents Frank and Ruth Hormel, grandson Matthew Neace, and his daughter Sonya Lindsey.

Sonny is survived by his children, Tana (Kevin) Neace, Tony Jestice, and Paul Hormel Jr. His grandchildren, Krista (Justin) Daniels, Michael (Brandy) Neace, Phillip Nordheim, Chloe Lindsey, Devin Lindsey, Betty Hormel, and Taylor Cope. His great-grandchildren, Landen Daniels, Lincoln Daniels, and Lawson Daniels.

Sonny was a hardworking man who did everything in his power to make sure that his wife, children, and grandchildren were provided for. Battling through cancer on 3 separate occasions, he persevered until the very end. Despite having several rounds of radiation, he consistently was the very life of every room he entered. A strong and proud man who never wanted to be viewed as anything less.

Sonny's legacy lives on in each of his family members, who live on, as he provided a better and brighter life for each of them than what he had been given. A truly caring and kind man who loved each of his family members ferociously.

He will be missed dearly.

Services will be held on July 11th, 2025, from 4:00-5:00 pm at Trinity Cremation Care, 510 Business Pkwy, Carlisle, Ohio, 45005.
