He was predeceased by: his father Frank Esselman; his children, Holly Ann Esselman and Robert Esselman Jr.; and his siblings, Ozzie, Joe, Lowell, Stephanie and Ruthie.
He is survived by: his son Mark (Jennifer Esselman); his brother John Esselman (Sandy); his daughter-in-law Hollie Rose; his grandchildren, Mike Esselman, Amber Esselman and Kaitlin Esselman; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Delia and Isaiah.
