He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McCarty and Nelly McCarty (Otis); his son Robbie McCarty; and his sisters, Janet Hayes and Phyllis McCarty.
He is survived by: his wife Eva McCarty; his children, Carla Haag (Joe), Becki Krenning (Josh), Amber McCarty and Sean McCarty (Audrey); his grandchildren, Brooke Covill (Tyler), Trystan Hatton (Tessa), Bailee Moore (Layna), Stone McCarty and Selah McCarty; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Covill, Waylon Hatton and Tucker Covill; and his sister Lucy Manns (Larry).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Poasttown First Church of God (6376 Germantown Rd, Middletown, OH 45042). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
