She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Mitchell; her husband Eston Cox; and her daughter Shelby Jean Cox. She is survived by: her daughters, Esther Carpenter-Brady and Marilyn Agee. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
