We are sad to announce that, on August 12, 2022, at the age of 50, Shane Ellis McCann-Whisman of Franklin, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Britt Whisman. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Greene-Whisman; his daughter Shana Whisman (Jesse Edwards); his mother Deborah Weidle; his siblings, Camela R. McCann, Chad D. McCann, Kristi Smith (Derek), Tisha Whisman, Jason Whisman, Dax Whisman, Britt Whisman, Chris Whisman and Tia Williams; his uncle Charles Weidle; his aunt Jean Ann Weidle; his nieces, Summer Smith and Skye Smith; and his mother-in-law Joy Collier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
