He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Wilson and Helen V. Wilson (Heim); his daughter Sarah Meyer; his siblings, John Wilson, Lynn Wilson-Slonaker and Virginia Clark; and his stepson Gary Bogumill of Appling, Georgia..
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughter Carol Mercer (Brian) of Alexandria; his stepchildren, Matthew Douglas (Shawna) of Fallsburg, Kathleen Serenko (James) of Dallas and Sherry Kohn of Sarnia; his brother Ned Wilson (Mitzie) of Newark; and his daughter-in-law Cherry. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (275 N Cedar St, Newark, OH 43055).
