He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Blackwell; and his sister Catherine Shepherd. He is survived by: his father Thomas "Tom" Blackwell of Fredericktown; his niece Nicole Shepherd of Fredericktown; his aunt Sandra Surber of Galion; and his uncle Preston Blackwell of Virginia.
