He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Leichner and Easter Leichner (Daniels); his daughter Denise Johnson; and his siblings, Floyd Daniels, Chuck Leichner, Bill Leichner, Betty Lou Sumerlott, Dolores Brill, Wanda McDonald and Rosemary Leichner.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Leichner (Steward); his children, Donnetta Loomis (Shawn) of Reynoldsburg, Carol (John), Dages of Canal Winchester, Ronda Bircher of Fredericktown, Kevin, Jamey Lundy (Julie) of Portsmouth and Donald Michael Leichner (Annie Smith) of Mount Vernon; his brother Larry Leichner (Connie) of Lebanon, VA; his niece Linda Sumerlott (Henry) of Florida; and his son-in-law William Bircher of Fredericktown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
