Helen Louise Parks Obituary

We announce the death of Helen Louise Parks of Fredericktown, Ohio, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 93. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise M. Herrmann (Roell) and Edward H. Herrmann; her husband Harold Parks; her children, Steven John Parks and Jeanine Carol Parks; her grandson-in-law Nathan Robinson; and her siblings, Stella Berg, Catherine Norris, Albert, Paul, Bernard, John and Robert Herrmann.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Glick (William) of Newark, LuAnn Davenport (Mario) of Cleveland, Elaine Freer (Tom) of Fredericktown, Amy House (Ryan) of Mount Vernon, Tony Parks (Carol Sue) of Spencer, Mike Parks (Mary Jane) of Mount Vernon, Nicholas Parks (Patricia) of Santa Fe and Dean Parks (Dawn) of Mount Vernon; and her brother Edward C. Herrmann. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lasater Chapel (11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (200 Block of East High St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Mound Hill Cemetery (103 Camden Rd, Eaton, OH 45320).
