With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hershel Thomas of Fredericktown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thomas and Loraine Thomas (Tennyson); and his brother John Thomas. He is survived by: his sons, Ty Thomas (Heatherlyn) and Chas Thomas (Beth Spence); his grandchildren, Halseighanne Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Aaralyn Thomas, Adrianna Thomas, Easton Thomas, Anniston Thomas and Lennon Thomas; his siblings, Gary Thomas, Steve Thomas (Connie), Willetta Coleman (Mark) and Linda Burson (Gary); and his daughter-in-law Amy Mavis Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lasater Chapel (11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
