He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Purdy and Blanche Purdy (Cox); and his siblings, Marvin, Phillip, Allen Purdy, Alma Cline and Wilma Brake.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Linda Brake, Donny Cline, Joyce Brake, Debbie Cline, Jeff Cline, Lori Steel, Kathie Yarman, Steve Brake, Mark Purdy, Dathan Purdy, Mathew Purdy and Rye Purdy.
