She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Brown and Wanetta Beckholt (Boyce). She is survived by: her husband Deacon Tim Birie; her children, Elizabeth Birie and Christopher Birie (Marianne); her grandson Phineas "Finn" Birie; and her siblings, Steve Brown (Alverta), Stanley Brown, Sheila Zieg (Steve) and Sandra Overholt (Don Snyder).
