He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilferd Ruckman and Lena Emmel Ruckman; his daughter Trudy McKibben; and his siblings, John Ruckman, Donnie Ruckman, Daryl "Porkie" Ruckman, Jerry Ruckman, Patricia McAfee and Wanda McMillen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susie and Lorie; and his sisters, Sheri Wright and Marlene Hackney (Joy Lloyd). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
