She was predeceased by: her parents, William Heschel and Mary Lou Heschel (Batey); her husband Duane Schroeder; and her stepdaughter Laurie Schroeder. She is survived by: her sons, John Scherf (Teresa) of Green Springs, OH, Allen Scherf (Angela) of Mansfield, OH and James "Jimbo" Scherf (Leesa) of Fostoria, OH; her stepchildren, Cathy Morgan (Bob) of Woodville, OH and Thomas (Angie); her grandchildren, Anthony "AJ" (Tim), Jesse, Jacob (Sarah), Aaron, Kayann, Lucas and Calvin; and her siblings, Christie Ferguson, Martha Mueller (Jason), Marsha Everett (Tom) and Scott Heschel (Cathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
