Nause and Gertrude Nause (Bauer); his wife Grace Sidell; his son Robert Nause; his granddaughter Rebbecca Ann Ochs; his great grandchildren, Kaydance Amelia Bowlus and Sophia Marie Stout; and his siblings, Clarence "Bud" Nause, Merle Nause, Jenny Wammes, Dale Nause, Marcus Nause, Vernon Nause and Mary Ann Wheeler.

He is survived by : his children, Cathy Ochs (Tom) of The Villages, FL, John Nause of Fremont, Cindy Vollmar (Jamie) of Fremont, Thomas Nause of Fremont, Richard Nause, Elmore and Lori Farmer (Greg) of Jacksonville, NC; and his grandchildren, Dawn Souders (Rick), Tom Ochs (Andrea), Melissa Voorhees (Jason), John Nause, Ryan Vollmar (Megan), Sam Vollmar (Kristen), Jeremy Nause, Tracy Bowlus, Chrystal Nause, Tarah Nause, Aimee Smith, Allison Nause, Dannielle Nause, Lucas Farmer (Courtney), Andrew Farmer and Michael Farmer. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
