She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Hill and Lola Hill (Crippen); and her husband James Woods. She is survived by : her sons, James R. Woods (Nancy), Larry Woods (Linda), Brian Woods (Wendy) and Michael Woods (Jan); and her sister Wanda Leonard. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Donations in Carol's name may be made to the Ida Rupp Public Library in Port Clinton.
