Charles Hayward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 69, Charles Hayward (Fremont, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hayward and Lela Hayward (Vermett); and his brother Gary Hayward. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Ickes and Stephen Hayward; his grandson Hunter Simpkins; his sisters, Phylis Brown and Tina Reider; and his friend Betty. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (831 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420).
Memorials can be made in Charles' memory to American Diabetes Association.
