He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob Ackerman and Juanita Ackerman (Dodway). He is survived by: his wife Norma Ackerman of Fremont; his daughters, Dawn Williams (Todd) and Renee Witt (Jason); his stepsons, Andrew Berger and Geoff Berger (Sarah); his grandchildren, Trent, Tate, Taylor, Meagan, Emma, Elie, Layla, Niko and Caleb; his sister Debby Rader; and his pets, Beau and Jack.
