He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Mollinger and Letitia Mollinger (Folk); his stepmother Nancy Mollinger; and his great-niece Solana Ruppert. He is survived by: his nephew Michael; his siblings, Cheryl Ohms (Michael), Linda Dennis (Randy), John Mollinger (Jecelyn) and Vickie Fulton; and his stepsiblings, Caroline Reed (Bruce) of Fremont, Dolores Capogrosso (Andy) of Fremont, Tom Everett (Marica) and Clyde. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made in his honor to Vanguard Vocational School- Carpentry Program or Humane Society of Sandusky County.
