She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Grubb and Dolores Grubb (Whittaker); her husband Haldon J. Black; and her son Christopher L. Black. She is survived by: her son Chad Black (Rhonda); her daughter-in-law Carla Black (Christopher); her grandchildren, Devin (Ashley), Alyssa (Joey), Makinsey (Cage), Kelvin, Aidan, Ashton, Karson and Cameron; her great grandchildren, Rowen, Adalynn, Elise, Josie and Arbor; and her siblings, James Grubb (Sally) and Mary Ellen Stephens (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
