With sadness, we share the passing of Donald L. DeMars of Fremont, Ohio. Donald, born on November 26, 1941, passed away on July 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Louis and Thelma Marie DeMars (Stahl); his wife Cheryle St. Bonore; his son-in-law Chris Schwochow; and his brother-in-law Alan Gerwin.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Routhieaux (Garie Jr.) of Lisbon, OH, Edward DeMars of Fremont and Deneen Schwochow (Matt Lahman) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Kira Geesey (Darin Carter), Garie Routhieaux III (Laura), Rachael Sanor (Tod), Zachary Schwochow, Amanda Nichols (Cory), Taylor DeMars, Kelsey Hull (Matthew) and Michael Schwochow; his great grandchildren, Maddison Carter, Chloey Sanor, Abbi Carter, Carleigh Sanor, Hunter Hull, Elaina Routhieaux, RaeLynn Hull, Paisley Hull, Natalie Routhieaux, Ava Hull, DeClan Nichols, Emelia Schwochow and Keelan Nichols; his sister Karen Gerwin; and his brother-in-law George St (Marg).
