He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smith and Wilma Mitchell (Henry); his son Jacob Smith; his brother Ken Smith; and his partner Robin Fosnight.
He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Bollenbacher (Joe) of Bellevue and Ashley Jones (Phillip) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Mason, Camden, Azlin, Paxton and Pierson; and his siblings, Frank Smith (Sharon), Tom Smith (Nancy) and Deb Bradfield (Jack). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
