He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Del Carmen Chavez (Baez); his nephew Eduardo Chavez III; and his grandparents, Candelario, Margarita Baez, Simon and Maria Chavez.
He is survived by: his father Eduardo Chavez; his children, Evalina Maria Chavez and Ernesto Chavez Jr.; the mother of his children Cara Kashmer; his siblings, Elissa Chavez, Eduardo Chavez Jr., Elena Chavez, Rumalada "Monica" Baez and Ignacio Baez; and his aunts and uncles, Llolanda Gonzales, Maria Carrio, Gloria Baez, Candelario Baez Jr., Cecilia Rameriz, Beto Chavez, Mondi Chavez, Jose Chavez and Jesus Chavez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made in his honor to his children in care of Cara Kashmer.
