She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mackey and Julia Mackey (Ramsdell); her spouse Daryl E. Wagner Sr.; her son Stephen Vargo Jr.; her grandson Wade Vargo; and her siblings, Helen Warren, Clare, Charles, James, Roger, John "Buzz" and Emmett Mackey.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Vargo (Cheryl) of Fremont, Karen Vargo of Fremont and Daryl Wagner Jr. of Fremont; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Vargo. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory (900 North St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
