He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shriver and Jessie Shriver (Mutchler); his wife Doris Bergeman (Bruggeman); his son Dennis Shriver; and his stepson Mike Bergeman.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane M. Young (Steve) of Buda, TX; his granddaughter Ruth L. Shriver of Cedar Park, TX; and his stepchildren, Judy Batesole (Mike) of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard Bergeman (Carol Ann Langstine) of Corvallis, OR, Bill Bergeman (Susan) of Charlotte, NC, Barbara Rapp of Fremont, OH, Eva Bergeman (Kevin Kinahan) of Wilmington, NC, Carrie Langelotti (Gerry) of Charlotte, NC, Frank Bergeman of Charlotte, NC and Ken Bergeman of Matthews, NC. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
