He is survived by: his siblings, James Hurst (Jackie) and Sandra Sedlmeier (Larry); and his nieces and nephews, Scott Sedlmeier (Adi), Todd Sedlmeier (Kandi), Cory Sedlmeier (Andrea), Jenny Hurst-Gupta (Brijesh), Julie Hurst and Jena Wilkinson (Justin).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sandusky County Humane Society, 1315 N River Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.
