He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don Nicholas and Eloise Nicholas (Hawk); his siblings, Donny Nicholas of Fremont, Sherry Nicholas of Fremont, Jerry Nicholas of Fremont and Sandy May (Nicholas) of Fremont; his cousin Bob Brudzinski; his wife Wanda Sue (Maenle); his children, James Higgins (Dawn), Shantel Laird and Cora Arquette (Jim); his grandchildren, Scott Higgins, Dustin Higgins, Destany Hovatter (Brian), John Connor Michich (Mollie), Riley Hammer (Charlie), Whitney Lockwood (Paul) and TJ Laird (Crystal); and his great grandchildren, Ca'lee, Amiyah Higgins, Sophia, Riley, Clark, Tessa Hovatter, Beau, Bella Lockwood, Hans, Maggie Hammer and Charlotte Laird.
