She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Cogar and Ida Pearl Cogar (Hamrick); and her siblings, Bertie Clifton, Linda Ringeisen, Lola Tracy, Bethel Frame, Wayman, Harold, Daniel, Ralph and Coleman Cogar.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Paul Johnston of John's Lutheran Church; her daughters, Jennifer Forster (Ed), Jill Dewey (Scott) and Julie Gonya (Brian); her grandchildren, Amanda Jackson (Geoffrey), Ashley Gonya, Kaitlin Dewey (Steven Hoppe), Audrey Dewey and Dale Dewey; and her great grandchildren, Adam and Samuel Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Fremont, Ohio.
