He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hotz and Dolores Hotz (Seward); and his brother-in-law Frank Mangiola. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hotz of Fremont, OH; his children, John Hotz (Leta) of Fremont, OH, Stacy Riggs (Jeremy) of Lyons, OH and Bradley Hotz (Amanda) of Littleton, CO; his sisters, Judy Mangiola of Tiffin, OH and Joan Engler (Charles) of Fremont, OH; and his grandchildren, Jacob Riggs, Jessica Riggs, Addison Hotz, Antwone Spencer, Aaron Spencer, Jaylen Spencer and Ariana Spencer.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420).
Memorials can be made in his honor to the Donor's choice.
