He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeffer Hunt and Myrtle Endicott Hunt Osborne; his wife Evelyn Kay Nickell Hunt; his stepfather James Osborne; and his brother Ronnie Hunt.

He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Sue Fleming-Good (Timothy) of Fremont, OH, Michelle Lynne Smith (D. J.) of Fremont, OH and Scottyee Gaye Barney (Brad) of Fremont, OH; his grandchildren, Rebecca Fleming, Zach Zimmerman, Braydon Lane, Ashly Fleming, Paige Smith, Skyler Barney, Preston Barney, Kyrsten White, Dylan Smith, John Fleming, David Fleming, Mackenzie Smith, Mellisa Barney and Ryder Eli Smith; his sisters, Betsy Osborne (Marla) of West Liberty, KY and Roseann Carpenter of West Liberty, KY; and his pets, Asia and Shelby. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
