Judith A. Shanahan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith A. Shanahan of Fremont, Ohio, born in Port Clinton, Ohio, who passed away on July 22, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Cook and Helen Cook (Schaffer); her husband Patrick J. Shanahan; her stepfather Harold Swartz; and her siblings, Frank, Herbert, Kenny, Ronald Cook (Ruth Ann) and Faye Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Debora Hirt (Ed Fitzgerald) of Port Clinton, OH, Jeffrey Shanahan (Glenda) of Helena, OH, Robert Shanahan (Jodi) of Fremont, OH and Patrick Shanahan (Sara) of Fremont, OH; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Michael of Fremont, OH, Ruthie Meek of Fremont, OH, Vickie Cook of Clyde, OH and Violet Cook of Michigan. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
