She was predeceased by: her parents, Staunton Ray and Lola Jean Harrison (Murdock); and her son Michael Kihlken Shawl. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Shawl; her sons, Andrew Talmadge Shawl of Fremont, OH and Alec McGuiness Shawl (Christine) of Savanah, GA; her grandchildren, Leah, Katherine and Ryan Shawl; and her brother Staunton "Ray" Harrison (Dianne) of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
