She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Freeman and Ruby Freeman (Carter); her son Freddie Martin; her siblings, Everee Freeman McKay, Betty Freeman, Mary Dean Freeman Butler, Quincy Freeman, Willie "Billy" Freeman, Charles "Bubba" Freeman, George Freeman, Bobby Freeman and Raymond Freeman; and her in-laws, Barbara Freeman, Milton Butler, Marion Martin Spann, Charlie Martin, Willie Martin and Jerome Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Taylor Martin; her children, Henry Martin (Diane), Willie Martin (Lisa), Marion Martin Koonce (Richard) and Thomas Martin (Angel); her brother Henry Freeman; her grandchildren, Clarinda Martin, Whitlee Alexander, Jermaine Alvarado, Terrill Martin, Isiah Johnson, Octavia McKinstry, Morgan Johnson, Naja Martin, KaVon Martin and Julius Martin; her in-laws, Deborah Freeman, Mary Freeman, Janice Spann, Annie Price (Kenny), James Martin (Stevie) and Earnestine Martin; and her friends, Bessie Minnifield, Emma Barnett, Betty Robinson and Lorna McKinstry. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar First Baptist Missionary Church (1699 Dickinson St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
